Global Supplement Brand Social Media Visual Identity
The client is a pharmaceutical brand specializing in the development and distribution of dietary supplements and nutrition products. Their clientele includes pharmacies who sell their products, and consumers who buy them directly.
The brand was looking to pivot more to a direct-to-consumer model, and as such, wanted to adapt their visual identity to support this goal. The aim was to maintain the brand’s clean and clinical aesthetic while making minor visual adjustments to appear more warm, inviting, and inclusive to the average consumer.
PLEASE NOTE: Below are some extracted examples of this proposal. The client’s name and identifying visuals have been redacted in accordance with confidentiality requirements.

My Process
-
The first step was to gain a deep understanding of the existing brand, and conduct a competitor analysis to familiarize myself with industry standards and trends.
-
Based on my research, I thought of some proposed changes that would position the client as a lifestyle brand in the relevant channels, while maintaining their sophisticated, science-based visual identity aimed at the B2B clientele.
There were numerous decision-makers with contrasting perspectives, so it was vital that the changes proposed be subtle and well thought-out.
-
While writing the proposal, my priority was to take a consultative approach. It was vital to write in a tone that aligned with their brand and ensure that the idea were easily digestible for all stakeholders.
-
I designed the proposal in complete alignment with the client’s brand identity, so it could easily be adapted into a brand guideline. The proposed changes were illustrated with ample examples, do’s and don’ts, and some demonstrations of what the proposal would look like in practice.
